Steps to reproduce:
Open "http://c.gb688.cn/bzgk/gb/showGb?type=online&hcno=68A1537228BC17B66D7F4D8AF4EF1CEE"
Actual results:
The page said "载入 PDF 时发生错误。"
Which means "Error while loading PDF"
Expected results:
A PDF preview shall show as Chrome did.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::PDF Viewer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

The above link fails to open in both chrome and firefox (desktop versions).
It's a mix of errors from pdf.js (not the embed one) and wasm.
:young_radium, file a bug on the website itself but I think it isn't a problem with Firefox.
If you've somewhere the real pdf file you can't open with firefox please reopen this bug and attach it.

The "hcno" in the URL is stable for each single PDF file.

Thank you for your comment, but Chrome did perform well.
What else can I do to help solving the problem? I deleted my profile and this problem is still there, so may it be some feature not supported by Firefox?
I do like Firefox and don't want to switch to Chrome each time I refer to the PDFs on this site.

Broken in both Chrome and Firefox for me as well.
It's a mix of errors from pdf.js (not the embed one) and wasm.
Given that the website in question is apparently embedding a custom version of the PDF.js library, this isn't something that we can fix here.
(Please keep in mind that this bug tracker is intended for the PDF Viewer that's built-in to Firefox, which isn't actually being used here.)

Re-closing the bug, since without additional information this doesn't seem actionable unfortunately.
