my css file has:
.autor {
text-align: left;
font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
font-size: 12pt;

Every atributes work except font:bold. Is it a bug or I just don`t understand
well CSS Spec?
IE6.0 works fine with it, also Moz 1.2a/windows
p.s. i saw that Moz accept font-weight:bold, but why not font:bold?

'font: bold' isn't supposed to work. The 'font' shorthand property requires a
minimum of a size and a font family, for example (off the top of my head -- use
the W3C CSS validator to double check):
font: medium serif;
font: bold medium serif;

If you just want to make it bold use
font-weight: bold;
