Steps to reproduce:

Current it is only possible to setup notifications for new mail globally in the application. Notifications for new mail should be able to be set per account. There are many use cases where someone would want to do this. For example, I may have an account for a shared mailbox and only need to look in there if someone specifically asks me to rather than having to be notified of all new mails.

There are some addons which purport to do this but they do not do it very well
