Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Using to retrieve POP.MINDSPRING.COM
  • Shut application and Restart occasionally clears problem.
  • Delete 88.0.b1 and reload 87.0.b3 everything works fine.
  • Upgrade to 88.0.b1 and the problem reappears.
  • May work OK for a few minutes or several hours, then fails and continually asks for PASSWORD but it never pulls in emails.
  • checked ACCOUNT SETTINGS --> Server-Settings for POP_Mail_Server.
  • my target email Server_Name had changed from POP3.MINDSPRING.COM to just POP.MINDSPRING.COM
  • manually changed back to POP3 and it worked

Actual results:

  • I believe that something changes my target email server from POP3.MINDSPRING.COM to just POP.MINDSPRING.COM

Expected results:

POP3.MINDSPRING.COM should never be changed by anything internally.
