User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020826 When logged into the schwab site and doing research on a stock one has the opportunity to request email/fax delivery of selected reports. The pop up window reports "The web session on this server has expired..." Attempts to use Schwab's stock screener also fail in that the criteria fail to reduce the number of candidates. Note: These features work under Netscape 4.79 and earlier. Netscape 6 and higher and Mozilla all display the problem. Presumably IE works also, but I do not use it. Schwab technical support confirms the problem and attribited it to a refusal of Mozilla/Netscape 6+ to correctly accept "session cookies". My browser is enabled to accept all cookies. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log into https//:investing.schwab.com/trading/center 2.go to research/stocks enter a symbol eg "MO" 3.Request email/fax reports and watch pop up screen Actual Results: error message "the web session on this server has expired..." However if you close the window most other feature continue and you are not logged out Expected Results: In the pop up window a menu listing available reports for selection should have appeared as it does in Netscape 4.7x. One then selects the reports and the method of delivery (fax or Email) and completes the transaction. the pop up window should then close. Since you may not have an account with Schwab to verify this I recommend that their technical support be contacted at 1-800-435-9050. They understand the problem
reporter (Matt): can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2)? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
I have just confirmed that the Schwab Web Site now works correctly with Mozilla versions 1.21. The same problem existed with "mac os 9 software" and it was correctly resolved with 1.20B and 1.20. The revisions under 1.1 did not correct it BUT: IT NOW WORKS FOR ME :-) Thanks
