Currently, we can create a mailing list in an address book but cannot
create an address book in another address book. IOW, mozilla does not
support multi-hierachy Address book, while this seems very useful for many
users. It is very attractive feature if we can provide it.
Any idea?

dupe of bug 75711 (Ability to create groups (not mailing lists)) ?
Summary: Support multi-hierachy Address Book → Support multi-hierachy Address Book
I regard this two bugs are similiar but not the same. Exactly to say we hope
there can be sub address books under common a certain address book. IOW, we hope
it looks like a directory in the file system more. I am not very sure what
"group" means in #75711, for eg. does it supports contain another group?
However, IMHO, to make AB support multiple-hierachy is not an easy job. To
implement "group" functions seems a step to achieve that.
Any idea?

I'd like to group all my soccer friend under a group called soccer:
[Personal Addressbook]
- [Soccer]
- [School]
- [Family]
Currently it's only possible to have the above mailing lists

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but still has no comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project 5 years ago.
Because of this, we're resolving the bug as EXPIRED.
If you still can reproduce the bug on SeaMonkey 2 or otherwise think it's still valid, please REOPEN it and if it is a platform or toolkit issue, move it to the according component.
