Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0
Steps to reproduce:
download document https://hackspace.raspberrypi.org/issues/41/pdf and use firefox (64 bit) for rendering
Actual results:
when scrolling pages, after a couple of pages, the next page is black.
reloading the 'page' fixes it, and it reoccurs when scrolling a couple of pages further (or backwards)
Since this was not seen in previous version(s) of firefox, I think it is a regression defect
Expected results:
page renders correctly without reloading

Hi smitdol,
Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this on the latest Firefox Release 87 and Nightly 89.0a1 on Windows 10 and MacOS 10.15.
Some of the pdf pages take some time to load (page is black) but are loaded in the end and upon scrolling further.
Are the pages becoming black permanently on your side or it is also just temporary (before reloading the page)?
If you have any addons enabled can you please try this out once more by disabling your addons (Firefox Safe Mode): https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Also, it would be useful if you could provide the Graphics sections info from about:support.
I can confirm that I cannot reproduce it with addons disabled.
So I close this bug as invalid
