I started TB after a crash, and a few folders did not have their icons.

At first I thought maybe these were all folders I had set to custom color, but on checking, no, most did not have a color set.

So I'm at a loss to explain why. icons appeared on a second startup

Does this happen only after a crash?
From the screenshot it seems to be from macOS, but in the bug is reported Windows as a platform, is that correct?

Icons are defined by the folder properties, so to put it simply if the row doesn't get the specialFolder-Inbox property, the icon will not be applied. But in that case a default folder icon should appear.

Are you able to reproduce this in some way? If I can recreate this scenario I can see what's up.
Adding Richard to this as he might have some insights.

Hmm, no, I can't say what happened. Could it be a corrupt folder icon cache? Or is it on every startup created

(In reply to Richard Marti (:Paenglab) from comment #2)

Or is it on every startup created?

No, the next startup was fine

I've not seen this again. And not reproducible, so => incomplete
