We probably still need some sort of link to etiquette.

Maybe just mention the newsgroup and say one option is to subscribe via news.aioe.org if not available from their usual news server?
Do we also need to mention netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey?
Same for news article...

Good work so far, but f- for the moment, as I want to see the next version.

We probably still need some sort of link to etiquette.

Linked to old netiquette for us "old timers"

Maybe just mention the newsgroup and say one option is to subscribe via news.aioe.org
Left the link in so that people can subscirbe fast. I think not many are using a dedicated nntp provider any longer.

Cleaned up the links and news / mailing lists. Removed defunct plant mozilla Formatting is ok with just viewing the html but might be fancy-fied after checkin.

Removed planet mozilla but can re-add.

fwiw.. there's little point in re-adding Planet so +1 on removal.

The first paragraph under Newsgroups / Mailing Lists now also mentions webforums and IRC, should it be before the <h2>? Perhaps as the second paragraph in the page?

(And should it be "The main channels ... are the ..." instead of "The main channel ... is the ..."?)

Suggested changes from njsg included and a typo fix.

Forgot "Do we also need to mention netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey?"
I don't think so. Let it be rest in peace. Would be different without the new alt.comp group but so a bit too much going back in time for my taste.

Typos fixed nits addressed. Front news section a bit expanded to cover website compatibility.
