Maybe:
2.53.7.1 is a minor bug fix update. 2.53.7 broke the usage of legacy generators and the deprecated for each statement in add-ons and the add-on SDK. It also contains a fix for handling of dead keys in text input fields for Linux distributions using GTK 3.24.26+.
