User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0
Steps to reproduce:
Updated a Password on a Webpage using "Use generated password" from Firefox 78.9.0esr (Linux)
Actual results:
My password got rejected, because it didn't contain a special character.
I needed to hand-edit it.
Expected results:
I would like to be able to decide on the rules for the generated password.
At least Lockwise should generate passwords, which consists of
- uppcase letters
- lowercase letters
- digits
- special characters (limited to ACSII ones probably)
Otherwise chances are good, the password gets rejected.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Password Manager' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi Martin, thanks for filing this. I believe we have this on file, but as separate bugs. I believe this is probably a dupe of either Bug 1650312 or Bug 1559986 (or maybe both, to be honest).

Yes, I agree.
Can you please mark this one as duplicate of the two you mentioned ? (Couldn't find it in the UI here)
So others can find the reference.
I've tried (quite hard) to find the issues, but I started to search for "lockwise" and thus failed.
One of the other mention plugins to enhance Lockwise - would be nice to explicitly mention these there.
(Yes, I use buzgzillas, to search for WAs...)
Thanks
Martin
