worksforme, linux trunk build 2002-09-21-04.
This happens to me in 2002092308 on XP. It seems that submits are not working. 1) Go to www.google.com 2) Enter something in the text box 3) Click Google Search 4) Nothing happens Works in 1.2A release for me. This might be a dupe thou.

Is this really a dupe? The bug this was marked a duplicate of claims to be a problem on the mfcembed builds, not the regular browser package.
It seems to be, but it was just initially noticed on embed. Steps to reproduce seem to be the same and symptoms. -goto www.google.com -enter a search subject -Click "Google Search" expected results: The form is submitted and search results are returned tested results: The form submit button doesn't work. nothing happens.
Well, watever it is, it works fine in 2002092304 v.

As I obesrved, it works in release 20020915. And one more thing. In release 20020922 the buttons looks different (more XP style) as in release 20020915. May be that's the cauze ?
This still is happening in 2002092408 on XP and no one is giving response on the other bug which is closed. I think this needs to be re-opened for investigation.

Removing my nightly directory and doing a fresh extraction from the ZIP fixed the problem for me using 2002092408. Reporter, please try this and confirm it's fixed in new builds.
I have downloaded the last build, extracted it from the ZIP, and the problem persists.
Only after extracting into a new folder, the bug dissapeared. So it can be consodered fixed.
