Isd this true or is the page in error. Nothing burning here, just curious. Beker Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Do you see this also with a new profile ? Do you used the installer ? (Do you have Mozilla1.0 XPIs in the same directory)

Based on Matti's comments, I created a new default profile and (!) that one displays the correct program version. For the record, my original default profile was only about a week or two old, and I long ago deleted any 1.0.0 versions (completely erased them and all files, not just installed over them). More important, this two-week-old default profile was correctly showing the version number of the early 1.2b builds; it was only in the last few days that the version display went wrong. For the record, I did use the installer and Moz was installed into a new directory with the existing (two week old) default profile in a different directory. That was the problem configuration. I have now created a new default profile and reinstalled last night's 1.2b build - and all is well; I will watch to see if a future 1.2b build installed over the current one or using the new default profile starts to act up again. open the file "prefs.js" in your old profile and search the line user_pref("general.useragent.override and delete it (if mozilla is closed)
