When I have new message, in the mailboxes/folders pane I have the list of my
folders + the number of new messages.
Pressing "delete" on old messages, this count decrement by 1 (for each deleted
message).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.state: New messages
2.Press "Delete" on one old message
3.

Actual Results:  
MozillaMail decrement the count of new messages

Expected Results:  
The new messages count should be untouched

Giacomo Catenazzi: is this bug still an issue for you?  Have you tried a more 
recent build?

I have never seen the symptom you describe.  One possible thing that could 
happen to cause it:  When the old message is gone the selection moves to the 
next message in the list.  If that next message was Unread, as soon as it was 
loaded into the preview pane, it would be marked Read, and the unread count 
would decrement.

Ok. I cannot reproduce with newer version of Mozilla, so I tray to close it

[Previously was a real bug, the messages remained with status unread, only the
count bugly was decremented]

report.
