+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1699039 +++

Similar to bug 1699039 that just got fixed for the timer updates, this bug is about updating the animation states. By using the following steps I can see nearly a 100% CPU load.

Steps:

  1. Open https://www.esprit.de/herrenmode/bekleidung/pullover-strickjacken
  2. Open DevTools and select the inspector pane
  3. Select the Animations panel
