Steps to reproduce:
mac os: command-L , enter search words, suggestions are displayed in a list below
Actual results:
when i hit the arrow keys (down), i can't go down to select one of the result lines. this works in any other browser. please add this obvious capability.
Expected results:
arrow keys should work. thank you for fixing this.
it might also be a bug, depends on if it works on the windows version of FF

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

The down arrow should go to the next result. Can you please go to about:support, copy the log to your clipboard, and paste it here?
there are a lot of extensions installed at the moment, and I also did do some changes to userchrome.css and about config, but none of these should affect the address bar. also, everything else works fine. i think if FF worked correctily, nothing shold be able to override the arrow keys in that situation.

Can you attach that userchrome to the bug so we can evaluate if those rules are really not affecting the urlbar?

I don't know what was happening.
I restarted firefox and it still did not work.
I disabled toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets and it worked because that disabled the userchrome.
I re-abled toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets and it KEEPS working.
I have no explanation for this but things seem fine now.
Just one last note, I really appreciate that userchrome is supported, I would not be able to user Firefox efficiently without userchrome support, it enables me to use fullscreen with no horizontal tabs, but vertical tabs via sidebar extension which is a huge screen real estate gain. (MacOS)

userChrome.css modifications can affect the browser's behavior, so it's plausible that something in it broke the urlbar. I'll go ahead and close this since you say things are fine now. If you notice the problem again, please let us know and include your userChrome.css.
