Using 19991021 on win98 only, in Account Setup if the drop down list drops below the Account Setup window the items below the window won't select when you mouse over them. 1. Launch Messenger 2. Select an account 3. Select Account Setup from the Edit menu 4. Double click on your account, then click on Copies and Folder 5. Select the down arrow for the "Keep junk mail in" if you have enough folders you will notice the list drops below the Account Setup window lower boundry. Mouse over the each folder, notice you can select any of the folders above the boundry but none below. Result: can't select list items at the bottom of the list Expected: to be able to select any of the items on the list Note: on the linux platforms if you use the work around for selecting items on the list by using the up/down arrow keys each item will highlight when selected and on Mac mousing over will visibly show the item as selected.

I need a reduced testcase that demonstrates the bug and a better description.
Can't find a reduced case for this scenario, the only dialog that I found that displays this problem is the dialog window is in the Messenger|Account Setup|Copies and Folders. Note: there is a problem with the New Folder combo box drop down list but it is different from this problem see bug 17711. Maybe adding this to the description will narrow it down. Items on a drop-down lists from a combo box, within the Account Setup dialog, do not highlight when mousing over the items that drop below the bottom border of the dialog window. Use the scenario above to see this. I just checked this again and this scenario it is still reproducible on windows

I don't think this bug is valid anymore, the dialof has changed and i don't know how to reproduce it.
