User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826
In Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings, if you try to tick "Do not download
messages locally that are larger than..." box under "Disk Space" for a POP3
account, the ticked setting is not saved (ie. if you "OK" your settings, the box
is unticked next time the setting is reviewed). Nor does the setting take
effect: i.e. Moz _will_ try to download messages larger than the specified size.
This does not seem to affect IMAP accounts.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on Edit -> Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings...
2. Select "Disk Space" for a POP3 mail account
3. Tick the box to left of "Do not download messages locally that are larger
than..." and enter something reasonable (say 100 Kb) in size box
4. Select "OK"
5. Now repeat steps 1 and 2
Actual Results:
Box to left of "Do not download messages locally that are larger than..." is
unticked. Mozilla Mail tries to download a 10000000 Gb message
Expected Results:
Retained the tick. Only download header for message larger than 100 Kb
