Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to any site.
  2. Observe the touch bar.

Expected result

  • The star icon is displayed.

Actual result

  • The star icon is not displayed.

Regression range

  • This is not a regression. I can reproduce the issue on Nightly from 2019-01-02.

Additional notes

  • This issue is not reproducing with Chrome.
  • The icon is not displayed even if Firefox is set as the default browser.

I just realized that the star icons appears in the touchbar, just not by default. You have to go to Customize and click on "Customize Touch Bar". I thought that this was displayed by default, like it is on Chrome.

Yes, the default set does not include the star icon. The UX team decided on the default set back when the Touch Bar was first implemented.
