User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Maximize the FF window;
- Open two tabs;
- Detach one tab to make a new window
(This happens in v88 and v89 beta 5)
Actual results:
The new window won't be maximized.

Works for me in Gnome....may it be KDE specific?
