Bug 494163 added gvfs integration for both smb:// and sftp:// URLs. If I've already mounted the corresponding location in Nautilus and copy and paste the location from the Nautilus location bar to the Night location bar, in Nightly today, sftp:// works but smb:// does not. Is this the intended situation?

(If I open an HTML file from Nautilus either from an smb:// or sftp:// location, Nightly opens it via the mount under file:///run/user/, so direct awareness of gvfs doesn't seem necessary for that.)
