User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0
Steps to reproduce:
Log into a website using a password that is outdated in Firefox password manager.
Actual results:
A password manager pop-up asking if I want to update the password appeared but then disappeared quickly as the page reloaded upon logging in. I didn't have enough time to click 'Update password'.
Expected results:
A password manager pop-up asking if I want to update the password should appear and not disappear until I choose whether or not I want to update the password.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Password Manager' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

That pop-up should remain open and visible across location changes, and we're not able to reproduce this. Can you provide some more details on where and how this happens - are you able to share which website this happens on?

My suspicion here is that the pop-up is being dismissed as the page calls focus() on some element. To confirm this, we need to know if the key icon is still present on the left of the addressbar (the "notification box").
We can't really troubleshoot further without more information. I'll close this for now, but please re-open if you can provide more details.
