In order to remove NSS usage in content processes, part of what needs to happen is to make some of the freebl library methods available without going through PK11-* functions, per discussion with Dana

My understanding is this will involve changes to the NSS build system and potentially the gecko build system.

Hi Chris, we'll have new colleagues joining the team next month, so I've marked it P1 so that we can attend this asap. It is likely that this can be done in August. I'll catch up with Sean soon after they join.

I'm downgrading this to P3. No one is currently working on it, but Dana has made some changes to PSM that (I believe) make it less pressing. Please let me know if there's some context I'm missing / if this needs immediate attention.
