Steps to reproduce:

  1. Move the mouse over a bookmark folder in the "Bookmarks Toolbar"
  2. Hold the mouse left button down
  3. Try to move the bookmark folder in another place or over another folder

Actual results:

Nothing, the bookmarked folder does not move

Expected results:

The folder should be moved in the new position (another position on the Bookmarks toolbar or inside another folder)

Just wanted to add I have Fedora 34 with Wayland and GNOME 40

I also can't drag a folder placed in bookmarks toolbar.

Firefox 89 beta, KDE Plasma Wayland.

Works for me. Can you try Mutter/Gnome?

I can't reproduce with Firefox 89 on Wayland session of Gnome 40, Arch Linux.
However, bug persists with the same version of Firefox on Wayland session of KDE Plasma.

It is working in the latest version of Firefox
