I'm collecting addresses into my Personal Address book so why can't I delete the
"Collected Addresses" address book?

A trivial one-liner patch at

would fix this bug, EXCEPT the Collected Addresses AB is recreated upon restart.

Marking this as blocked by bug 197138 - Don't create CAB.

I am having this problem as well.  I have deleted all the collected address from the collected address book and the "delete" option is still hidden.  I have checked other parts of the thread and there doesn't appear to be a fix for this.  I am using XP.  If someone could give me a tip on how to get rid of it.  I would highly appreciate it.
