RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1364261

People

(Reporter: tst1, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

Search any page in Firefox or in LibreWolf on Linux.

Actual results:

My local time is UTC+2, but the column "Most Recent Visit" in the Library/History displays UTC time (instead of UTC+2).

Expected results:

The column "Most Recent Visit" in the Library/History should displays a correct local time (UTC+2 in my case).

Version: 78 Branch → Firefox 88

Hey tst1,

I believe this is a duplicate of Bug 1364261. To confirm this, please follow the steps to disable fingerprinting:

  • Navigate to about:config
  • Accept the risks and continue
  • Type in the search field: privacy.resistFingerprinting
  • If it is "true", rewrite that to "false"
  • Restart the browser for the preference to take effect
  • Perform a new search to any page and check the time for it in "Most Recent Visit".

Let me know if that solved this issue, thanks!
