Steps to reproduce:
I transferred the TB profile to some path containing an accented character (namely, an “é”).
I tried with similar paths; when é (or other similar character) is in the path, TB has problems; when it’s replaced by an e, no problem.
Actual results:
Several things don’t work any more :
- most add‐on icons are not shown in the manager
- some add‐ons that used to work in TB < 68.0 don’t work any more; for instance this one https://addons.thunderbird.net/fr/thunderbird/addon/provider-for-google-calendar/
Other problems that arose have been worked around in the meantime (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1665493)
So this is a regression from TB 68 that has never been fixed.

One issue per bug please.
I don't think there's in general a problem with non-ascii paths for the profile. Probably you did something wrong in the transfer. Try a new profile.
Add-ons need to be updated by their authors. Provider for google calendar HAS been updated and works, but you can also just user CalDAV to access your google calendar.
