ld.so.1: ./mozilla-bin: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/mozilla/components/libnecko.so: symbol __1cIDistance6FrknRnsReadingIterator4Cc__2_I_: referenced symbol not found Killed That's the exact error. If you don't do anything that would launch profile manager, Mozilla works fine. This is the tarball of 1.2a for Solaris, running on Solaris 9. 1.0-1.1 works fine.
This was fixed some time ago by bug 167722 ("Fatal relocation error on Solaris 9 in libnecko.so") ... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 167722 ***
