Transparently opening .html.gz files

Details
1.file-open or drag'n'drop a .html.gz file in Mozilla
2.notice the "aplpication/gzip, save or execute?" dialog
In Netscape4 this was easily possible... maybe is a MIME error but at least from
file-open Mozilla should recognize the second extension on a .gz file and try to
open it if it is one of the internally supoprted types, IMHO.

Should this be tagged with "4xp" keyword?

Duplicate of "(ftp:// or file://) suffixes like (.gz) are Content-Encoding (not
Content-Type) [decode and display .gz file]"
