User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0

Steps to reproduce:

Right click anywhere, either in a page or in the chrome, while having the theme set to anything other than Light.

Specifically, I am on "System theme" with my system set to prefer Dark themes.

Actual results:

Context menu opens with a fixed appearance.

Expected results:

Context menu opens using colors that match the current Firefox theme, or at the very least the current system theme.

I've reported the strange border width separately as bug 1713802.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Menus' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Menus

Hi Leonardo,
Thanks for reporting this.

I was able to reproduce this issue on Nightly 91.0a1 (2021-06-07) (64-bit) and Release 89.0 versions as per your instructions.

I'll set this ticket as a Defect. After checking older release versions, I noticed that context menu opened with colours matching the Firefox theme that was set.

Also, I changed the Component from 'Menus' to 'Themes' accordingly.

Regards,
Jerónimo.
