I can't reproduce the issue as described above, indeed Firefox 90.b1 is installed using the .exe file for Firefox 90 beta 2 but, I'm not seeing any issues when I try to update to the latest beta (Firefox 90 beta 4 in this case).
Kinnir1234, are you still experiencing this issue? Could you please confirm whether you reproduce this issue using Firefox in safe mode or with a new profile?
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows - on Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.

Hello,
Actually i am facing this perticular issue only for 90.0b2 version
If you can check that with any other channel rather than beta channel,
Then you can reproduce this...
There is no issue with 90 beta 1 to new beta which is 4.
This is only for 90 beta 2.
Thanks.

There was a numbering problem when Firefox 90 beta 2 was build, a problem that we are aware of. Even so, 90.0b1 and 90.0b1 (beta 2) are different builds, you can check that by comparing the revisions from about:buildconfig.
For the time being, I'm going to mark this report as Resolved Worksforme since this issue is not present on the latest Firefox 90 beta 4. Many thanks for the time that you invested in reporting this issue, we appreciate it.
