We plan to ship Scots (sco) to GA soon, and would like to set up the search engine configuration.
Falling back to en-US values doesn't make a lot of sense, given where it's spoken
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_language
Could we copy the same settings used by en-GB, but drop chambers-en-GB@search.mozilla.org
?

The agreed list for sco (assuming GB region) is google, amazon-en-GB, ddg, wikipedia (english), Bing and eBay.
The changes are to add Bing for sco locale (all regions), add eBay for sco in GB region only.

The wikipedia link is incorrect as it points to English rather than Scots.

We decided to leave the Wikipedia link as English for the initial release as we were a little short on time and the origins of the Scotts one is questionable. I think Francesco was going to check in with the localisation team on how acceptable the Scotts one is. In either case, that should be handled in follow-up bugs if desired.

The Scots community is in the process of undoing the damage done by the single contributor who made up 1/2 of all the articles, despite being a non-Scots speaker. I will ask the commuity where they are with the clean-up project.
It is fine to stay with en-GB for the time being.
