Steps to reproduce:
I did nothing more than update to the latest Firefox. After that, this weird popup started popping up everywhere. I'm on my home wifi network.
Actual results:
A popup stating "You must log in to this network before I can access the Internet" drops down from the main browser bar, sometimes with a button to access more information or submit a bug like this
Expected results:
Not have come up, I'm on a private home network.

Thanks for reporting this. With a new profile, could you capture a http log and attach it here?
Additionally, in about:config, if you could search for the flags "captivedetect.canonicalURL" and "captivedetect.canonicalContent" and share their values here, that may be helpful.
Hi, since the day I posted this, I haven't seen the tooltip again. Should I still provide logs as you asked?
