User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0

Steps to reproduce:

updated to firefox 89 (in linux), open internal cacti website, open 40 popups of realtime graphing

Actual results:

firefox starts slowing down, even when scrolling and switching between tabs
memory consumption of firefox is more than 6GB with this quantity of pop ups and much open tabs

Expected results:

to be like opera, everything opens swiftly with no breaking

I have tried to reproduce the issue with Firefox 89.0 on Ubuntu 20 but unfortunately I haven't found a site with 40 pop-ups at once.
Could you please provide a testcase or a example site where we can test this issue?

sorry man, you'll have to install cacti on a server, configure some host on it to monitor and from the client firefox browser, you'll have to open the internal site in the browser and there to pop up

Hello! I will add the QA-not-reproducible tag since I couldn't reproduce the issue on my end with the firefox 94.0a1(2021-09-17).

Also Majedzouhairy are you still encountering this issue with the latest firefox builds? If yes please attach the about:support and about:memory copy as requested in comment 4 and comment 5.
