I had opened a session consisting of a single window with many tabs.
Wanting to have a private window, I decided to close Firefox and start a new one in private mode.
(Maybe that was a mistake)
I noticed that I could not restore the previous session from private mode (it might be a security feature, I don't know).
Additionally I was requesting help from some application that opened another Firefox window to display a help page.
After closing all those Firefox windows again, I realized that I could not restore the session I had before.
(When restoring the "previous session", I got the session with the help page only)
There should be a way to either restore the session I had, or a way to make a "snapshot" of the current session that can be restored later.
Such snapshots could be named with date and time for example.

This is the expected behaviour since Firefox does not save your history, search entries or download list entries while you are browsing in private mode. I'm not sure why you would use "private mode" if you want your session remembered.
"(When restoring the "previous session", I got the session with the help page only)" -> this is expected because the help page was opened in "normal mode"
I'll set this as NEW but I don't think this enhancement idea will be picked up.
Thank you for your suggestion though!
