Steps to reproduce:
I unsubscribed from a platform, then I opened bookmark manager searched the website name, Control-A , then I pressed delete.
Actual results:
firefox stopped responding in Linux (ubuntu 20.04)
after a while, ( when the process completed ) it went back on
Expected results:
just not crash.
the delete process should have been done in the background, or stop allowing user to select multiple pages to delete, or let delete it in preferences (for just a specific keyword in URL)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

good bot,
also I deleted another 600 pages and it seems some parts ARE in the background and some parts ARE NOT.
(blinked with 300 pages for a sec)

This is a known issue, some improvements have been made recently, and we are hoping to make more soon, there is also a potential work around listed on bug 734643 comment 120.
