User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
Switching on my 2 monitors.
On my first monitor, launch a video on Amazon prime video; the video runs in HD, all is fine.
Switching off my second monitor make the video goes to SD only (video quality option says that the video cannot run in HD).
But as soon as I unplug my HDMI cable (2nd monitor) from my gpu the video goes back to HD / same thing happens if i switch back on the monitor.
Same thing happen when I'm doing the opposite :
Switching on my 2 monitors.
On my second monitor, launch a video on Amazon prime video; the video runs in HD, all is fine.
Switching off my first monitor make the video goes to SD only (video quality option says that the video cannot run in HD).
But as soon as I unplug my DP cable (1st monitor) from my gpu the video goes back to HD / same thing happens if i switch back on the monitor.
To summarize, if my 2 monitors are on, the video is in HD, but as soon as i'm switching off one of them, the video goes to SD.
Unplugging the cable or switching the monitor back on makes the video back in HD.
Actual results:
The video cant be run in HD
Expected results:
The video should stay in HD like with other browsers!

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hey lathuata,
I'm not sure if this issue is related to Firefox in any way but you could try a couple of things and check if it fixes the problem.
Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .
Hey :)
sorry but you're right the issue is not related to FF, as I made additional test I notice that the issue happens also in Opera GX :-/
I'll try to find a solution ;)
Thanks for your help anyway !
