I noticed that logging into my router's web interface won't work in Firefox Nightly's private browsing mode. In private browsing mode, after entering the correct login credentials, I'm redirected to the login page.

In normal browsing mode, everything works fine.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go into private browsing mode by pressing Cmd+Shift+P
  2. Go to fritz.box and enter your password. Press Enter.

Expected behaviour:
You're logged in.

Current behaviour:
You're redirected to the login page.

Unfortunately, there is no way for me to have the web interface publicly available. Maybe a contact at AVM might help. I'm available for debugging.

Private browsing enables tracking protection by default, can you retry with that disabled?

This bug appears to be fixed in latest nightly.
