Details
On several occasions while using v1.1 (both the alpha and final versions), I will start the browser and it will act as if it was just installed. All prefs will be reset and all mail accounts will be gone. Bookmarks and installed components (i.e. calandar) will remain. The profile and all data is still on the hard drive, but Mozilla does not recognize / use the data.

Reporter: Do you use quicklaunch ? This sounds that the file prefs.js (in your profile) is deleted (you can restore it if you copy the file prefs.bak [dunno if this file already exist in your build]) This looks like bug 155080 but this bug is fixed in builds after Mozilla 1.1a.

It appears that for some reason, prefs.js as well as prefs.bak gets reset every once in a while. I've turned off quicklaunch, and since then it has still happened once. What I've done is to manually make a copy of the prefs.js file, and keep it as an extra backup copy. When the file resets, I copy my backup over the default prefs file, and everything returns to normal. I still don't know the cause of the situation, though.

Does not seem to be an issue in the newer (1.2.1+) versions. Also, the bug only shows if quicklaunch is enabled. Keeping a backup of the prefs.js file is a remedy for this bug.
