User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
Normal Firefox usage and after Sync mailfunction, I attempted to log out from Sync and even to restart Firefox
Actual results:
While the normal Firefox usage, I got suddenly logged out from the Sync. After logging back in, the Sync got stuck on "Syncing..." and it has probably fallen into a loop of some type.
When I attempted to log out (after confirming the "Do you want to logout" box), nothing has happened. I attempted to restart the Firefox, but after it has reopened, in the Sync was still stuck in the "Syncing".
Including a screenshoot
Expected results:
Normal sync and logout.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sync' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for the report - this is a bit odd. While sync does keep logs, unfortunately a log file is only created after a sync completes, which is tricky in cases where it never does. However, if you follow the instructions at https://wiki.mozilla.org/CloudServices/Sync/File_a_desktop_bug#Get_detailed_Sync_logs, it will guide you to an about:sync
addon - after installing it, in the Log Files and Diagnostics
section there is a button that will "Force a new (probably empty) log now" - so if you can click this button after reproducing the problem, you will hopefully find a new log in about:sync-log
which you can attach here, and that should give us enough information to work out what's going on.
My system:
System based on Debian 10 (64-bit)
uname: Linux live 4.19.0-10-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.132-1 (2020-07-24) x86_64 GNU/Linux(In reply to Mark Hammond [:markh] [:mhammond] from comment #2)

Update:
Acording to the https://accounts.firefox.com/ I got sucessfully logged out from the sync, but according to the Firefox itself, I'm still logged in.

This certainly is strange. Could you please try the instructions at https://wiki.mozilla.org/CloudServices/Sync/File_a_desktop_bug#Capturing_logs_from_stdout? That might give some clues.
