User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
Please look at attached image
I selected only Browsing History checkbox in the Address Bar Settings, in the Privacy and Security section of Firefox Settings.
(Context) I did this because I use multiple google accounts, however I only use one of them as my calendar (url = https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/1/r). However when i type: "calendar" - in the address bar, it suggest i visit the url "calendar.google.com/", which redirects to another accont.
Actual results:
The Address Bar suggests visiting URLs not present in my Browsing History.
Expected results:
It should suggest only URLs present in my Browsing History

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Autofill suggests URLs to-the-next-slash by design. If you had the URL google.com/maps/home
in your history, (for example) typing any subset of "google.com" would only autofill google.com/
. When you type a slash, we would autofill google.com/maps/
. Finally, as you type through "maps", typing the second slash would autofill the full URL google.com/maps/home
. There are some drawbacks to this design, as you've found, but it is usually what users expect.
As for the part of your report about the prefs, autofill is only drawing upon the URLs in your history. If https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/1/r
was only in your bookmarks and not your history, we would not autofill any subset of it.

FWIW autofilling full URLs is bug 1597791, so you might want to follow it. We'd like to implement it but unfortunately it hasn't been a priority.
I'll change this bug's status so it's marked as a duplicate.

autofill is only drawing upon the URLs in your history. If
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/1/r
was only in your bookmarks and not your history, we would not autofill any subset of it.
To elaborate, Firefox will autofill bookmarked URLs as long as the Bookmarks option is checked in preferences, even if they've never been visited (or if they had all their visits cleared). Likewise, Firefox will autofill visited URLs as long as the Browsing history option is checked, regardless of whether they're also bookmarked.
