  • Flip the "pdfjs.enableXfa" pref to true.

Steps to reproduce

  2. Load the attached PDF file.
  3. Go to the end of page 1, Section 10, b.

Expected result

  • An arrow-like element is shown, pointing to the right.

  • An incorrect element is rendered, looks like a checkbox.

Regression range

  • Not a regression, but an implementation flaw.

The attached PDF also shows this issue.

QA Whiteboard: [pdf_xfa_generic]

To fix this, we'd need to add support for the TIFF format.

Severity: S2 → S3
Priority: P1 → P2

This issue also occurs in the case of the attached PDF. Demo below.

Attached image image not rendered.png

This issue is also observed on the last PDF attached, but for an image on page 9.

This PDF shows another similar issue.

The barcode image at the bottom of the page is not displayed.

Attached image image not displayed.png

Observed image not rendered correctly; the logo at the top-left corner.

Probably related, the logo of the Romanian fiscal authority (ANAF) is displayed as a broken image when opening the latest versions of fiscal forms in Firefox Nightly (tested with both 92.01a and 93.01a).

@tct: Thanks for the mention, but please also attach the PDF that shows this issue.

Flags: needinfo?(t)

The issue is also observed in this PDF.

THis PDF also shows lack of an arrow-like image; A very similar issue is also seen in a ghostscript PDF and canadian forms.

A weird issue is seen here; An image is shown as the letter 'R'.
