User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 E-mails attached within e-mails... attempting to read the attached e-mail uses navigator rather than treating it as a normal e-mail. This may be okay for simple e-mails, but when the e-mail contains more attachments, navigator displays the text encoding. Nb. Attached e-mails appear differently when generated from different clients. i.e. icon displayed by mozilla are different. 1. generated from mozilla - appears as an unidentified object 2. generated from outlook - appears as an e-mail icon Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. forward an e-mail as an attachment (more effective if attached e-mail contains an attachment) 2. receive using mozilla 3. display e-mail 4. note the icon of attached e-mail 5. double-click on attached e-mail Actual Results: navigator displays mail source (same as if you clicked on "View->Message Source") Expected Results: should have opened the e-mail in a mail window... so you can view the e-mail and open an other attachments. (just like M$ Outlook)

This has been fixed (somewhat) since Moz 1.4; but see bug 204350 and its various dependents.
