Steps to reproduce:

After upgraded to firefox 89 it freezes high frequency.

It may be relate to firefox proxy settings or extensions.

I installed smartproxy or switchyproxy and setup with my sock5 proxy server.

When my firefox have some proxy connection issue, like bad network or just wake up from suspend, whole firefox UI will freezes (include menu and Tab)

It happed on firefox 89 and newer, but firefox 88 is ok.

Fedora 34 64 bit

Gnome-shell 40.2

Linux 5.13

Actual results:

Expected results:

It shuold not freeze when proxy connection have issues.
