User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/91.0.4472.166 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start firefox
2. Start or stop a X compositor

Actual results:

Firefox interface freezes. It still reacts to input, e.g. clicking the menu button opens the menu, but the interface stops updating.

Expected results:

Firefox works normally.

I think this stopped working around version 89 or 88

Please try to find a regression range, if possible. At the end you should get a pushlog url.
