User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open https://meduza.io/slides/nina-kravits-radiohead-uillou-smit-inturist-i-florist with sidebar opened and DRM disabled

Actual results:

DRM message bar is shown above sidebar, so sidebar position is changed

Expected results:

Drm message is shown only above actual page content (i. e. left side of the DRM message bar should match right side of the sidebar), so sidebar position is unchanged.

I suppose it affects other topbars (?) as well, but only other known for me is page is slowing down browser and dunno how to reproduce it.

Hi,

I believe this is the expected behaviour of infobars, they are presented from Firefox when the system detects a web page is doing or not doing something correctly and needs user attention/action. They animate in and out, and push down the website content in the viewable window space, so the sidebar is also pushed down when an infobar is presented.

Since this is the expected behaviour, I'm going to close this issue.

Thank you for your input!

Welp, the ticket basically was about why it's expected behavior since it's awkward and I don't see any upsides of moving sidebar down on DRM [or other] infobar.
IMHO it would be better to show infobar above the web page, not below the urlbar/toolbar.
