User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/91.0.4472.164 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I'm reading emails.
78.12.0 (32-bit)
Actual results:
Sometimes when I move an unread message to a folder, it loses the count. Sometimes that happens to folders I have not selected in the current session. Sometimes it happens to folders between sessions, between closing Thunderbird and later opening it. If I expand such a folder and display all of its subfolders and then click on the deepest subfolders and work my way back to the top level, the count for each subfolder reappears and the folder name reverts to bold.
Expected results:
Every folder containing unread messages should have remained in bold font and kept displaying the unread messages count.
Comment: this used to be an occasional problem, but it now occurring almost every time I launch Thunderbird.

Does problem reproduce when using newer version (91 for example) with Help > Troubleshoot mode?
The problem was never reproducible, it simply happened randomly. I try my best to keep my software current, so version 78.12.0 was probably the latest and greatest when I reported the problem. I am now on version 91.3, and the problem has not recurred recently, so IMHO this bug has been exterminated. Thank you for your efforts.
