i send a message

Actual results:

first the message is not sent but put in the draft. I need to click a second time to definitely send. the message remains in drafts.

the message will have been sent

Hello, i didn't try with safe mode.
moreover, the fault appears randomly and is not systematic. Thunderbird version changed this morning to 91.0 b4. For the moment the defect has not reappeared.

I don't think there's a bug here.
Wfm on 91.0b4 (64-bit), Win10.
Roland, please answer the following questions.
If you are ever able to reproduce this bug, please try safe mode as Wayne said.

Steps to reproduce:

i send a message

  • POP or IMAP?
  • HTML or plaintext?
  • What exactly did you do to send?

Actual results:

first the message is not sent but put in the draft.

I don't understand.

  • What is the meaning of "message is put in the draft"? Are you talking about the folder Drafts?
  • Please describe every detail of what happened after you clicked on Send button.

I need to click a second time to definitely send. the message remains in drafts.

When the message is in draft folder, there will be no button to send.

  • Which exact steps did you perform to send the message?
  • After the message was sent, did you find a copy of the message in your "Sent" folder?

first i will say that i didn't have the problem today after the last update to 91.0 b4.
explaining to your answer : i work with pop.
the problem was : I write a the message and then i click on the send button. the computer work a few seconds, and come back to the sending windows, that is remaining on the screen, waiting for an action. Second click on the send message, the message is sent and registered in sent folder AND draft folder.
Need to go to the draft folder to suppress the draft. That was yesterday. Today no problems anymore with different mode of sending (write, reply, transfer, all seems to be good)
