User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to purchase books on Google Play.

No luck.

Tried in Troubleshoot mode.

No luck.

Tried rebuilding my Firefox installation from a backup.

No luck.

Tried in Waterfox Classic in troubleshoot mode.

That actually worked...

Actual results:

There were error messages involving add-ons, but those went away in troubleshoot mode, and involving decrypting passwords, but those went away after rebuilding.

The silent failure persisted.

I'd select my book, confirm my identity, and ... nothing.

Expected results:

It should work, of course.

The bug affects pay books and free apps, but not free books. So testing with some free apps...

Which points to either bug 1626846 or bug 1661888.

My bad, mistyped. either bug 1626486 or bug 1661888.

Hi Kershaw, can you take a look?

Flags: needinfo?(jstutte) → needinfo?(kershaw)

I am not sure why, but I can't reproduce this on nightly version.
Could you try to get a http log? Note that the log may contain cookies, so you might want to send it to my email address directly. Thanks.

It's working for now.
