Operating system: Windows 10 PRO x64/ Ubuntu LTS 20.4 x64
Firefox version: :Firefox Nightly 92.0a1 (2021-08-02) (64-bit)

Preconditions:
ETP set to STRICT
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to : https://www.lidl.pl/c/rower-auto/c4284/w2
2. Observe the result

Expected Behavior:
The images on the page are loading

Actual Behavior:
The images do not load and the tab of the page is stuck in a loading loop

Notes:

• Not reproducible with ETP set so STANDARD
• Works as expected using Chrome
• Screenshot attached

This doesn't appear to be related to ETP, as it happens for me only sometimes when I reload the page, and does so regardless of whether ETP is on or off for the page. It may be a webcompat issue related to a network request stalling, but I can't be sure without a more involved diagnosis.

Thomas, for me the issue reproduces randomly whilst ETP is set to STRICT. Whilst it is set to STANDARD, the issue is reproducible but not as often. It may be just the case of pure luck.

On the web page there are 2 same image that differ in size:

https://pl.cat-ret.assets.lidl/catalog4media/pl/article/353812/xs/353812_013.jpg
https://pl.cat-ret.assets.lidl/catalog4media/pl/article/353812/third/lg-retina/353812_013.jpg (there are 3 possible versions for this one: lg-rettina, sm-retina and xs-retina)

In the log, there is no request for the second image. I assume this is not a networking problem. As far as I can see from he log the resources are not requested. I do no see any failed request.

Thanks Dragana. Since this doesn't seem to directly be related to ETP, but some intermittent scripting failure, we'll have to diagnose it further as a regular compat issue.

I can confirm that the issue is no longer reproducible, regardless of the status of the ETP. I think it is safe to say we can close this as FIXED.
